Tomaž Praunseis, skater who skated diagonally through Slovenia in the end of last month, will be giving a talk about this humanitarian project this Saturday, 8th June 2013, at Mladinski center Trbovlje. It will be surely interesting to hear his thoughts about the whole experience, and some anecdotes from the trip!
As you may know, I've been involved in this humanitarian project, following Tomaž and the support time with my camera for the whole week. I'm happy to announce that my talented colleague Peter Fettich and me will be exhibiting some photos from this project at the same venue. The photos will be on sale there, with all the money going to the fund for four families that we're trying to help with this project.
We start at 8 PM, hope to see you there! ;)

Exhibition opens as accompanying programme of the festival on 9th June 2017 in Maribor, Slovenia
The second edition of the festival organised by Glas podzemlja and MKC Maribor started last Friday, and will continue this Friday with two concerts (Urška Supej kvartet + OrGanic FunkaDelic), jam session and opening of two new exhibitions as part of their accompanying programme!

Photography exhibition opens on 8 December 2014 in Maribor, Slovenia
Selected by Igor and Ivana Unuk, this group exhibition called "Foto Kamra" (as part of "Vilinsko mesto" project) will feature sixteen local photo artists with very different styles and stories: from experienced photography masters to younger generations, from distant places to streets and people of Maribor, from film negatives to GoPRO aerial views, from nudes to skaters and panoramas. And of course, bands & musicians! Plus, all photographs will be on sale - so just in time to get those Christmas / New Year photo presents sorted! :)

Being shortlisted with my Lost in Music project photographs for Alfred Fried Photography Award, was a big recognition for my work, especially since there are so many amazing projects and photographs shortlisted this year, and music photography is often look down upon in the photojournalistic world. Honestly, I really feel very honoured to be in such extinguished club. But, the story goes on!

Last month I've been involved in a humanitarian project including well known Slovenian skater Tomaž Praunseis skating from one end of Slovenia, to another - 370 kilometers in 7 days - an obvious example that one man can really make a difference!
I said it many times that I love to shoot live concerts and I just looove to shoot festivals, for numerous reasons. Well, this week, although technically speaking this was a classic road trip, was the best festival of them all!

After the successful 11th birthday celebration of the online magazine terapija.net in Medika (Zagreb, Croatia) in February this year (read more about that event and my fruitful connection with terapija.net) which included concerts in two clubs and a concert photography group exhibition, the sequel is taking place this Friday. The town is the same, but the venue is different - it's Tvornica Kulture (Culture Factory), the biggest (indie) rock club in the Croatian capital.

Photography group exhibition called "Moje mesto - bodoča evropska prestolnica kulture" ("My town - future European Capital of Culture"), opened yesterday at Univerzitetna knjižnica Maribor in Maribor, Slovenia, exhibiting four of my photographs, with one of them awarded the 2nd place in the competition.
