Solar Pulse Music is a very agile and very cool collective organising concerts of independent music bands in Maribor. And they’ve been doing this already for the last ten years (time really does fly)! To celebrate that momentum, they put together a four day festival bringing us some of the best underground and indie bands from Slovenia (plus guests from Austria and Finland), featuring many, many different musical styles.

Weather forecast for the night didn't look good at all in the beginning, but happily, forecasters were wrong - just a bit rain didn't spoil a fabulous open air gig!

Sixth edition of a smaller rock festival in my old home town, and the first one on a new location - instead of old army barracks, this year it was lake Šoderica, some 20 minutes away from the city. Also, my first time on this festival :)

Visiting my old town, meeting old and new friends and checking out new and smooth jazz festival (hot summer nights, cold beer and cool jazz!) - what more can one ask for? :)

Continuing our fruitful collaboration after last year’s debut, I had a privilege to photograph another gathering of belly dance groups in Maribor titled "Mično pomično".

Last Saturday I was privileged to work with one of my new favorite bands from Croatia - Kandžija i Gole žene - shooting live promotion of their latest album (and a brilliant one it is!) called "Nema labavo" in Tvornica kulture in capital of Croatia, Zagreb. And what a gig this was! :)

Continuing our successful collaboration from the last year, I was hired again this year to document the international Winter Dance School that has been happening in Maribor for 31 years now!

This has to be my shortest (and one of the sweetest) concert ever! :) Due to other obligations, I was late for the start and the band played around one hour, so I got only to see last few songs, sadly. Usually, I wouldn't even publish this as a blog post, since I don't feel I captured the full reportage of the concert I would like to, but since I was so delighted with the band, I'll do it anyways.
