Continuing our great collaboration with Maribor’s well know dance school & dance company Plesna Izba Maribor, I documented another annual winter show production of the most of their different classes - from small kids to jazz and modern/contemporary dancers!

My personal concert and festivals favorites of the year 2014

Without further ado, the highlights of the year 2014 (drumroll, please!) include...

Continuing our fruitful collaboration, I was very happy and honoured to be invited from the band to shoot probably their biggest live show in their career (so far, that is!) in a sold out Small hall of Dom sportova in Zagreb last weekend. And amazing concert it was!

I don’t know of many bands that consists only of vocal, keyboards, cajon and bas and Miki Solus, young Croatian trio with great lyrics and cool music, are just that kind of a band. I also don’t know of many bands who performed in a train carriage (on a regular train line!), and Miki Solus did just that last Friday night!

Great concert of Slovenian singer songwriter Tadej Vesenjak promoting his new album that I did photography for, and a very special gig for many different reasons (read on!).

Last night of the 3 nights Festival Etnika 2014 brought us a pioneer of "future jazz", Nils Petter Molvær!

Amazing performance by recently reunited duo that performed over 70 concerts together in the early 1990s and released a CD called "Amulet" in 1996.

After I missed what is now considered to be a legendary gig in Maribor when Punčke played Stolp 3 some time ago, I was sure not to miss this one. There were two main reasons for this: firstly, Punčke are great young female rock trio from Croatia that are brilliant for photographing live and secondly, the organiser of the concert, Miha Lovše, deserves every respect of concert lovers in Maribor and Slovenia.

Second part of this years Bažant Pohoda 2014 gallery includes names like Suede, Goldfrapp, Travis, Tune-Yards, Kelis and my personal favourite of the festival, Japanese girl band Tricot!

Highlights of the bands shown in this gallery include brilliant Tame Impala, legendary Kraftwerk in 3D, Jambinai that play heavy post-rock on Korean traditional instruments, amazing duo Putan Club and many more!

The final gallery from this years Festival Lent contains some moments captured offstage, on stage (but not as performance), behind stage and on the streets of Maribor, during the festival.

Festival Lent 2014 - 16 days of hard work and so much fun - the photo story is coming to the end. In this gallery, among others: Inner Circle, Jinx, John Lee Sanders & Rad Gumbo and ZircuS!
