Last gig on their European tour was a beautiful night in the Croatian capital and the second time for me to photograph this amazing band from Iceland performing live.

Same venue as last year but this time in late July, brought much warmer summer nights for this years Rocklive festival!

To see and photograph a band that was in my Top5 bands in my high school and my music formative years (even after sooo many years!) is a pure joy!

Plesna izba Maribor, dance school and production company that celebrates 30 years of all year round dance classes, had their annual summer production that was, given the jubilee, quite special!

Rock concert on a raft!

Raft is certainly not your typical rock venue, but Maribor is not your typical town, and Miha, the concert organizer, is not your typical concert organizer :)

Last Friday it felt like the festival season already started in Maribor - there were 3 really cool concerts at 3 different venues in town and luckily, not at the same time! :) The first one was of a young Croatian and very talented singer/songwriter Dunja Ercegović, known also as Lovely Quinces, that I was eager to see.

My second gig of that evening (after very lovely Lovely Quinces) was something completely different...

Our songs, your dreams

The only rock band in the world that played both in North Korea and South Korea came to Zagreb together with RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra with a brilliant multivisual programme titled "Our songs, your dreams".

Outdoor concert of Jardier in a beautiful atrium of Vetrinjski dvor in the centre of Maribor attracted quite a bunch of people!

First edition of the Back To The - Future Jazz festival, organised by Gramofonoteka team, included two nights of, well, future jazz music - sadly, I was there only the first night.

For me, this was one of my favourite club gigs of 2017, for many various reasons!

Happy Ol' McWeasel are the best Slovenian Irish punk band, that celebrated their 10th anniversary and St. Patrick's day combined this Saturday in their hometown Maribor. And what a show it was! :)
