Legendary Slovenian band Zmelkoow is a band that’s hard to explain in one sentence. Their intelligent, witty, ironical and satirical lyrics were actually quite a revelation to me when I moved to Slovenia more than decade ago and were one of my first Slovenian bands that I truly enjoyed while I learned the language. I still do.

Their gigs are quite more that regular concerts and this one was no exception - interaction with the audience, instruments and costume changing, "playing" on snow shovel (!), stand-up, or as the call it, sit-down performance, and so on.

Packed club full of fans (even some young ones!) only proved their unquestionable status and I’m already looking forward to their next gig :)
