Last year I had the privilege to work with another very talented young dancer (and dance teacher) Jasha Robnik.

I have photographed Jasha, just like Vanja and Lucija before, performing yearly dance productions from Plesna izba Maribor since they were young kids :) Jasha was one of the youngest, if not the youngest, in the Anita Čanadi intensive jazz dance groups, and they often used to throw her high in the air - her face always calm and professional, like that’s not a big deal. You could tell she was a true pro, even back then :)

Fast forward many many years and Jasha is the next dancer in my photo studio. The session went great, Jasha was amazing (just look at this flexible poses!) and this time I felt like black & white, a bit more dark and rough look, was a way to go visually.

I was contacted recently by Mojca, a pole dance student of Pandora - Art of Pole pole dance school, with a very specific request - she wanted to do a photoshoot of herself doing pole dance poses for a calendar. Needless to say, the challenge sounded to good to be true so I jumped at the idea immediately :)

Last weekend, I've been very privileged to photograph amazing young dancers from whole Slovenia (plus some foreign guests) with their amazing mentors, during the 30th Winter dance school (30. Zimska plesna šola). Such passion and talent in one place - simply, for a lack of better word, amazing!
