Okttober promo photo shoot
Last week I was working with Okttober, a great Maribor based rock band who needed some new promo images.
Okttober promo photo shoot
After some hiatus due to health problems, the band is back - preparing new material and practising for the upcoming gigs. The first time I visited their practice room I noticed the visual potential the whole place has, so I brought my lights to make the shooting around that location and not in my SHtudio. Great fun, all in all! :)
Eleven moths after they were in my, then newly opened, photo studio for some promo photos, Koala Voice - one of my favourite bands - is back! Yep, we have a hell of a coffee here at SHtudio and people tend to come for more :)
Uroš Kaurin and Vito Weis are two brilliant Slovenian actors whose performance Heroj 2.0 (Hero 2.0) made quite a big impression on me and my wife Špela. I’m sad I haven’t seen the first performance (Heroj 1.0), but was very excited when I was commissioned to shoot the promotional photographs for the third performance for which we did a photoshoot in Ljubljana few weeks ago.
After a long pause, Okttober, a really cool Slovenian band, is back with live gigs! They played a great gig weekend before in their home town of Maribor, and now was time to show up in the capital city!
Last week I was invited for the rehearsal of a very cool Maribor based band Okttober, who I’m very fond of. I had a fabulous time with them (great guys, just like their melodic melancholic rock music) in their great and spacious rehersal room - had more space to jump around than in most of the clubs I photograph usually :)
Sometimes in the fall of 2017 I was commissioned to photograph few studio full length portraits of the same model in different costumes from different well known theatre plays and historical periods...
Last weekend I did a quick promo photoshoot for a Croatian/Slovenian band Helika, which, I’m sure, is already a pretty known name to the regular readers of my blog since I’ve been photographing them on multiple occasions. And that’s not just because my wife is in the band, but also ‘cause I really like their "trip pop" music!
