Tony Cetinski is a well known Croatian pop singer, whose management commissioned me to document the sold out concert in Maribor which was hopefully just a start of our future collaboration! :)

The Bugs

If I tell you that The Bugs are a cover band, you’ll probably guess what kind of music do they play, right?

Helika, promo shooting

Helika Photo: © Saša Huzjak

Last weekend I did a quick promo photoshoot for a Croatian/Slovenian band Helika, which, I’m sure, is already a pretty known name to the regular readers of my blog since I’ve been photographing them on multiple occasions. And that’s not just because my wife is in the band, but also ‘cause I really like their "trip pop" music!

Final performance

Last weekend, I've been very privileged to photograph amazing young dancers from whole Slovenia (plus some foreign guests) with their amazing mentors, during the 30th Winter dance school (30. Zimska plesna šola). Such passion and talent in one place - simply, for a lack of better word, amazing!

Yann Tiersen

A bit more than 4 years after my first gig of a French multi instrumentalist and a composer Yann Tiersen, I had the opportunity to photograph him again. He is currently on a Europe tour, promoting his latest album called ∞ (Infinity) and while I, due to other work commitments, missed his sold out Ljubljana gig last Saturday, I did manage to catch him in Graz, Austria.

My first concert of a legendary French multi instrumentalist, composer and the author of some fabulous movie soundtracks (e.g. "Good Bye Lenin!" and "Amélie") was great as expected!

Afir Bafir is a legendary drumming collective from Maribor formed some 18 years ago by even more legendary Nino Mureškič playing West African rhythms and their own songs. And playing it fast & loud!
