Last weekend, I had the pleasure of spending time in the wonderful company of the dancers from Pandora - Art of Pole, as they performed their tenth edition of Pandorina skrinjica (Pandora’s Box), annual performance that usually takes the big stage of Narodni dom Maribor.

This year’s Winter Dance School was truly special. Not only did it mark a significant milestone—the 40th edition—but it was also a celebration of the incredible dedication of everyone involved, especially the one and only Minka Veselič Kološa, the driving force behind it all.

I was hired to document the premiere performance of another masterpiece from KUD Baobab production called "Temporalnost drugih". It was another great dance performance which I really enjoyed!

18. Platforma sodobnega plesa (18th Platform of Contemporary Dance)

All good things must come to an end, and after four incredible days of performances, this year's edition of Festival Platforma has officially closed its curtain.

This was already ninth Winter dance school in a row for me, next year will be 10th! Already looking forward! :)

Nagib is well known Maribor based society for cultural production that have been working in the field of contemporary dance for some years now. This season, they’ve organised community gathering for artists who live or work in Maribor in the field of contemporary dance...

Past weekend I had a privilege to photograph contemporary dance performance choreographed by Beno Novak and performed by the very talented girls of Plesna izba Maribor’s Š.I.K. collective.

Though I’ve been photographing dancers for about a decade now, I have to admit this was my first time I was shooting pole dancers — can’t believe what I was missing! :)

Once again, I was very privileged to be surrounded with amazing young talents and their great dance mentors - really inspiring weekend! :)

This past weekend I was very happy and privileged, to document 32nd Winter dance school (32. Zimska plesna šola) - my third in a roll - that was organised by JSKD and held in Plesna izba Maribor. Full of very talented young dancers and their great mentors, this workshop was again, just as last two years, a joy to photograph! :)

Continuing our successful collaboration from the last year, I was hired again this year to document the international Winter Dance School that has been happening in Maribor for 31 years now!

Last weekend, I've been very privileged to photograph amazing young dancers from whole Slovenia (plus some foreign guests) with their amazing mentors, during the 30th Winter dance school (30. Zimska plesna šola). Such passion and talent in one place - simply, for a lack of better word, amazing!

Monja Lorenčič and Domen Žugelj, known also under their artistic name Moment, are two great, young and very talented dancers from Slovenia that needed some fresh pics for their portfolio - I was very honoured to work with them on a quick photo shoot last month and am sure will do this again, since all three of us had a great time :)

Two days photography workshop with great energy and fun!

Platforma sodobnega plesa 2011 was a three day festival of contemporary dance with the emphasis is on local artists who have their starting point in Plesna izba Maribor.

Annual show production of all the different classes of the Maribors dance school & dance company Plesna izba Maribor called "Ljubi kruhek". All in all, a lot of work but really a great show, from small kids to experienced dancers and drummers! ...
