Lambchop, the band who at the time of their first record were pronouncing themselves as "Nashville's most fucked-up country band", are no strangers in Zagreb. Kurt Wagner and his mates are coming here quite regularly, this beeing their forth time and actually the last gig on their 2012 Europe tour. And their most quiet gig in Croatia so far, as the ones who saw them all four times told me.
They were supported by Oupa, which is the stage name for solo project of Daniel Blumberg, singer / guitarist from British noise-pop band Yuck.
While in Berlin, I was really happy to see once again Yuck, really cool young indie rock band from London. I saw them first time this summer at FM4 Frequency festival, and I really liked their music - mix of Dinosaur Jr. meets Yo La Tengo plus a bit of Pixies and Sonic Youth...
