Lou Rhodes (Lamb) @ Kino Šiška, Ljubljana (Slovenia), 01/12/2011
Can't really say that I was a massive when this electronic music duo from Manchester, which consists of musical producer Andy Barlow and singer-songwriter Lou Rhodes, started their career, but after seeing them at this years Bažant Pohoda festival in Trenčin (Slovakia), I knew I had to see them live again. And then they finally released their new album recently, simply titled "5", which was my favorite soundtrack for the past few weeks - for me, this was more than just a gig.
The concert went really really good, with excellent Jon Thorne on bass as the third member of the band. I just hope the band enjoyed their first show in Slovenia as much as I did - I'm saying that because at one moment Andy and Lou got a bit pissed about some loud guy talking in the first row to his friends during the quiet songs.
They were supported by their fellow English man Jay Leighton and the new Slovenian band Werefox, which was their second gig after the debut in MIKK two weeks ago.

Great gig from Scott McCloud's (ex-Girls Against Boys) latest band, plus debut concert of a new small Slovenian supergroup, plus interview with Scott after, plus meeting a lot of friends in one night - what can be better that this? :)
