Girls Against Boys have always been one of my favourite bands, and after their break up, I continued to follow Scott McCloud and his new projects - first, New Wet Kojak, and then later the Paramount Styles. Together with another ex-GvsB member, drummer Alexis Fleisig, and some extra musicians, the band came to play few gigs in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Murska Sobota, which was a great opportunity to finally check them out live.
And after the gig, Scott was so kind to give us half an hour of his time so we did an interview for terapija.net magazine and he turned out to be a really cool and easy going guy. Like we expected something different! :)
They were supported by new Slovenian band of the singer Melée, who actually performed this evening for the very first time. But don't be fooled by that fact, cause this is not just a new demo band - Werefox consists of well known musicians who were playing in bands like Psycho-Path, Sphericube and Lollobrigida.
Few friends and colleagues who actually saw Paramount Styles live in Zagreb one night before, also came to see them in Murska Sobota, so there was a small gathering of friends from terapija.net magazine, which made this night, with a great concert in a great club, just a perfect saturday night out experience. :)
