Koala Voice @ MC Pekarna, Maribor (Slovenia), 10/11/2018
It’s been almost exactly one year since I last saw Koala Voice playing live. And, funny enough, it’s been in the same club. When they played last year here, there was another gig happening ("double bill night") in another venue on a different part of the town that I was covering, so I had to jump from one venue, to another, and then back :)
What’s even more funny (not!) is that this year, there were three concerts happening at the same time! Luckily, I was covering only two gigs and they were just few meters apart :)
Without further ado - Koala Voice gave another energetic and sweaty concert, as they always do! :) Great band, especially live!
Rock Caffe, Kostajnica (Bosnia and Herzegovina), 28/03/2019
Second day of the tour, second country - Bosnia and Herzegovina. The people at cool Rock Caffe in Kostajnica were extremely generous and made us feel like home and the concert was explosive and loud as Koala Voice gigs usually are :)
Sorting through the concerts from the last year that I still haven’t published on my website, I found this little gem: two great young Slovenian bands playing in Maribor couple a months ago. Already well known Koala Voice and the new indie stars on the horizon - MRFY.
Sixth edition of a smaller rock festival in my old home town, and the first one on a new location - instead of old army barracks, this year it was lake Šoderica, some 20 minutes away from the city. Also, my first time on this festival :)
