TM Stevens & Shocka Zooloo @ ŠTUK, Maribor (Slovenia), 27/02/2013
Legendary TM Stevens, bass guitarist, songwriter and producer back in Slovenia!
Biography of TM Stevens includes records with many artists including James Brown (he sung at "Living in America"), Steve Vai, Neil Zaza, Cyndi Lauper, Little Steven, Tina Turner, Billy Joel and Joe Cocker, among others that is. Need more? Well, his early jazz years included playing with Miles Davis! Besides him, we had two more legends on stage that night: Neil Zaza on guitar and
TC Tolliver on drums.
Also, that night we were all Slomajka - which is a cross between Slovenia and Jamajka, if you didn't know :) - as TM Stevens said, repeating countless times how much he loves this country and its people. And teaching youngsters what the real music is all about (not the buttons on your mobile phone, but real instruments).
Really good show, great energy and above all, great professionalism all way round - already looking forward to shoot them next time!
