Damir Avdić @ Pekarna, Dvorana Gustaf, Maribor (Slovenia), 09/02/2012
Damir Avdić is an underground musician and artist from Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Former member of the bands like Rupa u zidu and SCH, Damir is a poet, writer, guitar player and performer and has got some sort of a cult status in the ex-Yugoslavian region. His strong guitar music with excellent spoken lyrics that contains comments about a world that we live in, including the capitalism, anarchism, democracy, USA, politics and horrors of
war and everyday life, are really something to be experienced live in concert. I gotta say that his excellent performance just blew me away.
As part of a five day free festival celebrating the 22nd birthday of Maribor's student's radio station MARŠ, Damir was supported by cool Slovenian lo-fi blues-rock duo Incurabili.
