Saša Huzjak @ Instagram

I will admit right in the beginning, I was reluctant to join Instagram. Actually, that’s not true, I did joined few years ago, but I was reluctant to use it.
I admit - I didn’t get it. I didn’t want another social network in my list of social networks where I have to (it’s good to) be active. I wasn’t interested in people’s over filtered phone images of F&F (food & feet) - because that is what I thought back then that Instagram is.
Fast forward to last month when I finally had enough of some other pro photographers raving how Instagram is cool and "it’s a must for photographers of any kind". I went there again and finally realised that Instagram is not just an phone app to make photos but also a photo platform where professional photographers show their work! So, it’s not only F&F but some real stuff, too! And amazing stuff, if I might add - I already discovered many, many talented photographers from all around the world...!
Addictive personality is my middle name so Instagram is rapidly becoming my favourite social network - just like Ello, I love that there is little distractions from the content (no ads and promote your page banners) and you don’t have to pay so all of your friends / followers would see your posts, like you have to on Facebook. Add automating posting to Facebook and Twitter and we have a winner! :)
To make things more interesting for me (and to force me to sort out my archive a bit quicker!), I’ve decided that I will have themed photo weeks on Instagram, posting one image per day, and showing not just my music related work but much more. I actually started today with my most published and awarded project "Lost in Music".
So, if you’re there, you can find me at instagram.com/sasahuzjak. If you’re not, try it, you just might get hooked :)
